Chocolate: Chocolate and Cooking

I know we’ve all heard of French Cuisine, Japanese Cuisine, Italian Cuisine, and even American Cuisine; however, chocolate cuisine transcends nationalities. After all there are numerous films and books about chocolate. Ever since chocolate was discovered by the Spanish approximately 500 years ago, it has been used extensively for making desserts. The discovery of chocolate has started, and continued the craze worldwide. People want to enjoy chocolate with foods besides just regular desserts. There is a false perception that chocolate is used in desserts only. That perception is far from the truth.
The truth of the matter is there are extensive recipes just related to chocolate used in cooking. Chocoholics can now get their fix of chocolate in as many forms as possible. Of course, some of us are interested in chocolate cooking, believe or not there is a chocolate culinary school.
