Willy Wonka Cosplay - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Play in French
Posted by tlisenby under Chocolate: Chocolate Movies[2] Comments
The rendition is quite unique. I’ve never seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory perform quite the way the Revver clip below portrays. Then again I’m not French, maybe it’s common in Paris. I don’t know. Maybe someone can correct me on this. I do know this play took place at Game 4 in Paris at Cosplay World. So what is a Cosplay, anyway? Can someone explain it to me?
I love the way she sings “Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka”, and the way she’s throwing candy into the audience. I bet it’s Willy Wonka chocolates.
I always thought French is a cool and romantic language to learn. What do you think of the video?

Blood and Chocolate: Chocolate and The Media - i.e Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Posted by tlisenby under Chocolate: Chocolate Movies[2] Comments
Which dessert can boast of a movie - and not just one, countless books, poems and articles about it? Chocolate, of course. There have been movies centered on chocolate. Sometimes the chocolate is in the background but other times it is an important character.
One movie which comes to mind is chocolat. This movie focused on the right to make a choice about what is wrong and right with the focal point being chocolate. Another is of course the movie Charlie and the Chocolate factory. The story of how a boy’s dreams are fulfilled, that of seeing how chocolate is made.
Blood and chocolate is a movie (from the producers of UnderWorld) in which the chocolate is not a protagonist at all. In fact it is not visible at all. The movie is about a pack of werewolves who have followed their traditions for more than 5000 years. A girl by the name of Vivian wished to change all that and gets the incentive to try and make it happen when she falls in love with a human Aiden. The leader of the pack Gabriel plays the villain, who wants to marry Vivien. Though the movie was touted as a tale that would appeal to teens and adults alike, it failed to please either of the categories.
