Chocolate Gelato

We were at our bookclub meeting a few days ago. We were talking about the latest books on the New York Times’ best seller list. Some of the books we’re discussing was about holiday cooking, holiday desserts, and children’s books. After a few hours of discussion on what the best entrees to serve to your in-laws for the holidays are, one of our members brought up the idea of getting gelato after the meeting.

When our meeting ended, we went as a group to Cold Stone Creamery. I ordered a chocolate flavored gelato. Some of our other members ordered Mint Chocolate Chip, and Berries and Cream. We really enjoyed this outing as a group. Having ice cream was good for us to get to know each other better in a different setting.

When I got home, I hugged my kids, and told them how much I loved them. Before I tucked them in for the night, I asked them to do some searches on chocolate gelato the next day. That was yesterday, and today, my daughter Sandy gave me a list of chocolate gelato websites.

The good news is we plan to use some of the recipes for the holidays. The best chocolate gelato recipe my daughter Sandy found was the Dark Chocolate Gelato. I plan to make this dessert for the holidays. And my daughter got paid for the good work she did finding chocolate gelato websites.
