This is my favorite time of year in the Shenandoah Valley. The Fall Foilage Festival is an annual event and this year the weather was perfect! It was a crisp cool day with the sun shining and the fall colors almost at their peak. It was a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.?
I recently got an email containing some pictures of the recent shuttle mission that were shared by a NASA employee with a friend. The entire time I was looking at these powerful images I could hear this song playing in my head, Wished I Was In Heaven Sitting, by Mississippi Fred McDowell.(I've also seen the title "I Wish I Was In Heaven Sitting Down") Somehow it just seemed to fit.
