The worlds ugliest had her 1st baby this morning. It is a bull calf sired by 249SR1757 Stenslanda. His mother keeps watch over him outside the pen. He shares the pen with 3 Holstein heifer calves.
This is a follow up to the first video that I made in April of 2006. 4399 has finally grown short curly hair and is due to calve in February. The ring was put in her nose to break a nasty sucking habit.
W-H Ace 3458 was born cross eyed and bug eyed. The cow is usually calm, but startles easy because of poor vision. She will run you over if you get in front of her.
A Praying Mantis was in our garage and was nearly stepped on. This is my favorite insect. They are quite rare and I only see a few each Summer around my home and at the farm. We let it go in a safe location once we were done playing with it.

These are 3 crossbred daughters of the Norweigan Red sire 5522 Svarstad. The mostly Black cow is out of a Brown Swiss/Holstein cross and the other two are out of a Holstein. They are 1st calf and milking 60-80 lbs.
The calf is 8 days old. She was born partially hairless and her eyes constantly weep. She has go to be the World's ugliest calf. She is being raised for dairy and not beef.

W-H Orraryd 4296 is a daughter of the Swedish Red sire 249SR1433/91433 Orraryd. Her dam is a Brown Swiss/Holstein cross. She was bred to the Holstein bull 7H7463 Klumbs Durham Pontiac. She was born Red and White and the Black marks showed up when she was a year old.

We have 5 Turkey chicks that we found on a mountain. Today they got loose and we took a video before we put them back in their pen to be released when they get a little older. Sadly our calico cat made off with one.
