Me jammin' on my Marshall DSL 100. I'm using an old Roland GP-8 for effects. The speaker cabinet is a Lopoline 2x12 with Celestion Vintage 30s. I'm playing my Epiphone Les Paul Black Beauty with Gibson 57 Classic pickups.
My natural finish Epiphone Dot (stock pickups) through my Marshall DSL 100 on the classic channel with just a touch of drive. I'm using my 2x12 cab with Celestion Vintage 30s
I'm comparing a Gibson 335 to an Epiphone DOT. I'm not sure how old the Gibson is... it's at least 20 years old. The Epiphone is only a couple years old, and it has the stock pickups in it. I'm playing through a Roland Cube 30.
Me noodling through my Peavey Valve King 212 with Eminence Man-O-War speakers. I was unhappy with the harsh, brash sound of the amp until I put a Boss GE-7 EQ in the effects loop and cut 1.6K almost completely. It really smoothed out the tone quite a bit and is a lot closer to the Marshall sound I like. I am playing my Epiphone Les Paul Studio with Gibson Burstbucker PRO pickups.
Me performing Heavy Metal by Sammy Hagar in my living room... Epiphone Les Paul. Marshall DSL 100 with 2x12 Celestion Vintage 30 cabinet. I know my solo is complete shite... but there was no way I was gonna be able to sing that again for another take... LOL!!
Trans Black Epiphone Les Paul with stock pickups through my Marshall DSL 100 with 2x12 Lopoline cabinet with Celestion Vintage 30s. I'm also using a Zakk Wylde Overdrive pedal for the extra gain parts.
Me demonstrating my Gibson Sonex 180 I recently restored. I'm playing it through my blue suede covered Peavey Classic 30 with Eminence Governor speaker.
An Epiphone Les Paul Custom I just bought. It has many upgrades. Tusq nut, Graphtech bridge saddles, Gotoh bridge and tailpiece, Duncan Pearly Gates bridge pickup, and Elitist neck pickup. I'm playing it through my Line 6 Pod XT PRO.
