Intro clip of 'Red Blouse' from Emily Remler's Advanced Jazz video.
I think this is a really sweet simple groove, which highlights Emily's ability to go into her zone and share with us what she finds there. Enjoy.
Sister Rosetta Tharpe performing Didn't It Rain.
If you've never seen this before, you have to watch her play guitar. She's badass way before her time.
Check out the Pete Townsend style windmill at 3.29 (maybe that's where he got it from)
BTW, it was actually raining during this song. You can hear the crack of thunder at 2.46
My version of Stellar by Incubus played along to a drum midi file. Please don't expect a note for note copy of the original cos it ain't happening.
The guitar is a PRS Hollowbody.
Please feel free to comment.
Tobago 2003 - I was born and raised in TNT, a couple years ago I took some US friends down to experience the West Indian way.
Here are a few views from a day trip out in Tobago, Tropical Rain forest, Bloody Bay, Sandy Point Beach club etc, to David Rudder's "One More Officer".
The red things hanging in the tree are cocoa pods.
As requested - my take on Wish You Were Here by Incubus, please note this is my way of playing it and it will differ from the way Mike E plays it. Guitar is a Paul Reed Smith Archtop IV.
I miss a couple notes in the delay bit as I was distracted by things falling off the bookshelf overhead. :o)
I wish Mike Einzinger never stopped playing his PRS.
Hope you enjoy.
This is one of my fav Incubus songs to play. I love the tone of the guitar on the original. Guitar is a PRS Archtop played through a 25w Zinky Blue Velvet.
Please feel free to leave your thoughts.

Gotta love that smile on Gary's face while he plays.

Bass - Gary Grainger
Drums - Greg Grainger

Our version of Rush's Fly By Night. I just love the bass in this song (thanks Jimbo).
Guitar is a PRS Hollowbody II and the bass is Musicman Sterling.
Here's some more of Alvin, one of our local Eastern Chipmunks coming to steal more peanuts.
Check out what a problem he has getting that peanut into his cheek half way through the video. He's a cute as heck though.
