Driving in Edmonton, Alberta down 118 Ave on July 22/2008 around 7 PM. Heading eastbound when hit by instant on Ka band first,then encountered EPS Crown Victoria heading westbound shooting Ka band. Very good detection on both hits.
Heading towards Sherwood Park via Sherwood Park freeway August 12/2008 around 4:30 PM, encountered Alberta Sheriff Highway Patrol shooting K band 24.1 Ghz radar from underneath bridge after the 17 street exit. Amazing around the curve K band detection from the STi as usual.
Heading southbound on 34 Street off of the Sherwood Park Freeway, encountered Edmonton Police Crown Victoria shooting Ka band 34.7 Ghz (most likely Stalker radar). Guy in front of me got nailed. LOL!

October 31 & November 1/2008: Ran into an EPS grey Ford Windstar photo radar van (Alberta Plate EXM 276) shooting K band 24.1 Ghz northbound on Castledowns Road. The Valentine 1 first alerted to the threat about 2000 feet (or 400 meters) in advance. You can see the arrows on the Valentine One do their magic in this video.
November 25/2008: Heading down 127 Ave, I encountered 3 Ka band sources straight ahead. Turned out to be 3 EPS Crown Vics, 1 marked and 2 unmarked. After turning at 113A street, I encountered 1 unmarked SUV with a dash mounted Ka band radar unit as well as a marked Crown Vic running Ka band. God bless the Valentine One's bogey counter!!
August 17th/2008, around 9:15 PM ran into EPS Red Dodge Dakota (Alberta Plate LAL 809) shooting K band 24.1 Ghz northbound on St. Albert Trail at 122 Ave. This is photo radar vehicle number 3/5 in my videos to date. Edmonton has 5 of these babys on the streets, so two more and we will know the whole crew.
October 9th/2008: Heading into Sherwood Park via Wye Road, encountered 2 RCMP cruisers stopped off at a Tim Hortons. For all you non Canadians, Tim Hortons is the most famous donut place in Canada. Ka band shot was 35.5 Ghz from a Kustom Golden Eagle. Always nice to see LEOs living up to the stereotype :)
November 8th/2008: Leaving Sherwood Park via Wye Road, I encountered an unknwon Grey Chysler Sebring Stealth Police Car with rear flashing strobes and a front dash mounted blue/red strobe (Alberta Plate is KEB 775), might be RCMP. They are getting sneakier day by day. Sorry for video quality but my camera was off center.
October 23rd/2008: Heading into Sherwood Park via Wye road, encountered Alberta Peace officer shooting K band radar (24.1 Ghz) trying to catch speeding cars coming over the overpass before entering town. On my way home, he has one vehicle pulled over.
October 22/2008: Heading out of Sherwood Park I encountered an RCMP Crown Victoria with someone pulled over. K band radar (24.1 GHz) was detected by the Valentine 1 radar detector, NOT Ka band 35.5 GHz, which is the Kustom Golden Eagle that most RCMP use.
You gotta be careful when driving on the northside of Edmonton. This retarded 8 year old girl just suddenly decides to ride her bike in the middle of the road without even looking behind her to see that there are oncoming cars. She even rides in the middle of the street for a few seconds before the cab driver had enough and started honking. I blame parents...
