Another short film for the 2nd 2.4.6.8 24 hour film competition, this time a modern retelling of a classic story, a 'good samaritan' called Joe being a requirement, along with a candle as a prop and the line of dialogue "who is my neighbour"... Apologies for the video quality, will try and update it with a better version soon!
This is a 5 minute short film made by a team of mostly first time film-makers as an entry for the National 48 Hour Film Challenge in August 2003. Titles and genres for the films were distributed randomly to groups, our genre being horror/Sci-Fi. It was completed within the time limit just about!
This is a 2 minute film that was entered for an anti-Christmas themed competition at the Cameo cinema, demonstrating what a pain it is for Jesus to have his birthday clash with Christmas Day... And yes, we had been watching Nathan Barley beforehand!
A short romantic comedy/thriller made for the Leith Film Festival 2.4.6.8 Film Challenge in August 2005, but sadly only completed in 24 hours and a quarter, which meant that it was 15 minutes too late to run in competition. It has been well received at least! The requirements for the film were a character called Chris, bread as a prop, and the line of dialogue "the salt of the earth".
Another 2 minute film made for a competition run by the Cameo cinema. The rather random film title was provided for us, inspiring our script writer to come up with a tale juxtaposing the happiness of fame and youth, and the bitterness of isolation and old-age.
