Sasha Cohen skates to "To Love You More" by Celine Dion at the 2001 Master of Figure Skating competiton. She has a step out at the beginning where she attempted the 4S, but everything after that is absolutely exquisite. This choreography is amazing and it is one of the most emotional performances I have seen from her. I wish she'd bring this program back.
The extremely attractive Jennifer Ellison's music video for "Bye Bye Boy." And apparently her attempt to prove that dancing ballet whilst ripping off one's shirt is a good idea.
Sasha Cohen's short program at the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City to the beautiful "Sentimental Waltz". She eventually placed just out of medaling in 4th, but this program is brilliant and absolutely gorgeous, as is Sasha herself.
Sasha's 2003 World's long program to music by Rachmaninoff. She makes the weirdest mistake I have ever seen her make - falling essentially off of a flying camel - and then falls, but I adore this program. I think this performance has made it one of my more favourite programs, because aside from those mistakes, the energy is absolutely amazing and her facial expressions are very spunky throughout.
Sasha's freeskate to Nino Rota's "Romeo and Juliet" at Nationals in 2006, which gave her her first gold medal win at Nationals, landing her a full 28 points ahead of silver medalist Kimmie Meissner.
Sasha's long program to "Romeo and Juliet" by Nino Rota at the 2005 Trophee Eric Bompard in France. An amazing performance, except for one surprising fall at the very end. Wonderfully shot - she looks amazing beautiful, and whomever was handling the camera did it perfectly. She was severly undermarked here, and won silver.
Sasha Cohen's long program at 2002 Skate Canada, to "Rachmaninoff." Despite sone fall and a popped jump, she still placed first. Her debut of this extraordinary program (my favourite).
This is Miki Ando's short program to "Sheherazade" at the 2007 Japanese Nationals. She's currently in 2nd place with less than 2 points separating her from Mao Asada.
She has now finised the Nats as the silver medalist! Congratulations Miki.
This is Sasha Cohen's short program at 2003 Skate Canada to "Malaguena". Fun, spunky, and gorgeous, as Malaguena always is. This performance of this program held the record for the highest score under the COP scoring system until the 2007 Worlds, when Yu Na Kim barely broke it. Personally, I prefer Sasha's performance.
This is Sasha Cohen's performance of Rachmaninoff's "Piano Concert no. 2" at Trophee Lalique in 2002, shortly after winning Skate Canada. This all lead up to her win of the Grand Prix.
This is Sasha Cohen's performance in Champions on Ice back when she was only 15, to Sarah Brightman's "Anytime, Anywhere." It's a wonderful performance, and the music was a perfect fit.
I seriously didn't think this video existed. This is Sasha's performance in 2000 at the Junior Worlds in Germany. This was after she won the US silver medal at senior Nationals, but was too young to go to senior Worlds - unless she placed at Junior Worlds. Unfortunately, she only got 6th place, but some of this is seriously undermarked, as you'll see.
This is Sasha Cohen's 2006 Olympics short program to "Dark Eyes". This performance is absolutely one-of-a-kind spectacular. It's what made me a fan of Sasha in the first place! Certainly one of her finest performances ever.
