Conrail freights roll west and east past CP Pack at Torrance, PA, on June 11, 1994. A rare sight is a GB&W Alco in the eastbound consist.

In footage taken in 1996, the eastbound Capitol Limited departs Connellsville, followed by a westbound autorack train, which stops at VI tower for a crew change, a common occurance at this time.
An NS coal train waits to head west as two eastbound intermodal trains pass at Conemaugh, PA, right outside Johnstown. The light was fading fast, and the coal train never left until after sundown. Filmed November 21, 2006.

Two westbound trains bound for the Monongahela Mine District hold at CP Wing in Wilmerding, Pennsylvania, while high-and-wide train 62A passes. After the combines are safely through, a ballast train starts out for Shire Oaks. After the ballast train clears, the westbound empty coal train meets an eastbound train of empty coke hoppers in front of the Westinghouse Air Brake Company building.
Restored PRR E8's emerge from Gallitzin Tunnel on the last fan trip of the 2007 Altoona Railfest. After coming out of the tunnel, there's just enough time to cross town and catch the train returning to Altoona.

Southwestern Pennsylvania Railroad GP10 #2002 leads a local freight through Youngwood, PA to Scottdale on July 2, 2007. The second unit is LTEX #2627, a former Southern Pacific SW1500. The SWP is part of the Allegheny Valley Railroad system (AVR) and runs on former Conrail (Pennsylvania) and CSX (B&O) tracks in Westmoreland and Fayette County.
A selection of Norfolk Southern intermodal traffic and a light engine move along the Pittsburgh line at milepost 324 in Radebaugh, directly west of Greensburg, behind the former location of the Greengate Mall. This video was shot in 2003.

Following a westbound auto train, a Wheeling & Lake Erie grain train departs Connellsville, PA at Greene Junction. Captured in 1996, the W&LE grain train features some vintage power, including former Missouri Pacific SD40-2s and a former Southern high-hood GP35 with Alco trucks.
An NS coal train heads north through Monongahela, PA in October, 2006. This train was travelling at 11 MPH.

This is the inaugural run of the Fayette Central tourist train on Memorial Day weekend, May 29, 2006. On this date, the train ran special excursions from Dunbar to BoWest Junction along the FM&P (Sheepskin) branch of the former B&O/CSX rail line.

Loaded and empty coal trains on the MGA Mine district on October 15, 2008. First, a loaded coal train heads north at Fredericktown. Under brighter skies, a load of empties lead by former Conrail SD50 5413 head to Bailey Mine at Sycamore.
Lastly, A loaded coal train heads back to Waynesburg along the Manor Branch at Boulder Road, with another set of empties rushing in to take it's place.
