These are the "clown" acts from Saltimbanco, The number was originally developed by René Bazinet. I performed the role from 2002 until 2005... and again on occasion in 2006.
The numbers have often been accused of being too long. Yet, when they were well performed, became a 'highlight' of the show. The audience member is not a "plant" and much of it is improvised.
