Joe has had his pipes for about a month now and is practicing Christmas tunes. First time ever on this song. As I said in an earlier video, he is also adapting to Parkinson's Disease into his music or rather Parkinson's is MAKING him adapt? A bit over a year into the diagnosis but likely several years into the nasty disease. And still going for all we can get!!!!
first day with uilleann pipes. After thought I may add that the reason we decided to purchase these pipes is because he is about a year into diagnosis of PD. Had it several years prior most likely but we are going for all we can get while we can and having fun!! check out other music youtube from piperswife to see the music in our life!! My parkie piper.
Joe playing bagpipes in the Bethany Cemetery Jan 12 2008. Prior to a friend's funeral Joe piped for. For the Parkinson's info, he is two years into diagnosis but who knows how long in to it actually? This was a "good" PD day!

Grandpa Joe is "treating"? or ??? his grandson Tommy to the Uilleann pipes for the first time. He is going to be a TRUE piper because he fell asleep to the sound of the pipes after a few minutes. Only a true pipe lover could do that!!!
