This video features an ARGO AVenger 8x8 750 tractor hauling a stuck 8 ton fully loaded truck out of a riverbed in Costa Rica in 2008. Note the noise of the strained 3.5 ton winch cable under the heavy load! Amazing performance.
In august 2007 we test-drove an ARGO 650 Frontier 6x6 in a costa rican swamp (Humidal) on the Tempisque river. The vehicle performed incredibly well despite the very difficult conditions that had a Mercedes UNIMOG 4x4 and a tractor sent to rescue the latter stuck a few days earlier in the same conditions.
I decided to try the newly tracked Avenger 750 EFI on a very steep dusty incline. This was done very slowly with no momemtum. The photographs give a better impression of how steep this hill really was although you had to sit in it to really "enjoy" it.
