The presenters are sent out to buy their own cut-price cop cars, armed with nothing more than ?1,000 each. They were sent away again to turn their cars into high-speed police pursuit vehicles. This involved several tins of paint, some comedy sirens and, in the case of Jeremy's Fiat, some Boadicea-style wheel-mounted scythes.
