The Berlin Zoo has a bit of a baby boom going on. They have Knut the polar bear, but also a baby giraffe, elephant, goat, and a pack of warthogs too.
Song: Baby Let me take you home by the Animals.
As always, comments welcome!
November 2006 and I was in Saint Louis. It was a perfect fall day and I had the opportunity to see the Arch. Seriously I couldn't have asked for a better day to travel or to head inside to see the sites.
Just a way to say Thank You to our troops - this is dedicated to them. I've participated in Anysoldier.com for about a year, and hope that others will consider it too. When I heard the music, I had to do the video.
Spread the word, say Thank You, and make a Soldier Smile!

Berlin Culture Festival Parade June 4, 2006 - alot like New Orleans Mardi Gras stateside - the crush of people, lots of drinking, and TONS of multi cultural music and booths. We were lucky enough to have friends in a 1st floor apartment on Mariendam. As you can see, it's yet another reason Berlin is a Blast!
Flying spaghetti monster makes an appearance on CNN. Wolf Blitzer looks shocked, but hey, 1 minute of fame adds up. I think the only thing better would be if Wolf was dressed as a Pirate, but hey, what can ya do...
Thanks to CNN (for the article), and to http://www.venganza. org/ for more details.
Jazz.y's first Geocache find - Easter Egg (Spoiler Warning) on a nice rainy day here in Dreilinden Germany. Notice all the wet everything and the MuD!!
September 1-3,2006 Schloss Dracula hosted a renaissance faire complete with acrobats, jugglers and a joust. This is the end of the Joust, with the unseating and final sword battle. Sorry for the "paste" together not being so smooth, my camera only records for short amounts of time.
The Pergamon Museum in Berlin also houses the gates to Babylon. This is a brief view of the main gates and entry way. There's also the Islamic Treasures special exhibit - which I got some pictures of - at:

This is the first room - the entry square to the greek temple - up the stairs is the main temple altar. Yes, many of the statues are "ruins" but really impressive how it's all built to size.
See second video (Babylon castle) and also the pictures at:

After Double Overtime and still the game is tied at 1:1 (zizu kicked out in second overtime for bad sportsmanship) we move on to penalty kicks. French fans watch and cheer as the penalty kick is made in the goal!
