This is my pet tarantula Rosea molting. It took her about 8 hours. I shot 45min. of video and edited it down to this.
A molt is what is left behind when an animal sheds its skin, feathers or shell. The process its self is called molting. Not only do spiders molt but other animals as well, such as birds, snakes, lizards and crabs. If you want to see what a molt is watch the video.
