Cocoa Energy Needed to do your last minute IRS income tax return
Posted by tlisenby under Chocolate and IRS
Tax Deadline for filing Taxes to the IRS is fast approaching. Some of us are procrastinators. We just like to burn the midnight oil to do our taxes. People like me stay up for 24 hours straight to do their taxes. The Duke of Chocolate is a procrastinator. With this procrastination comes working long hours. I require caffeine in coffee to keep me going. When coffee isn’t enough just like Popeye and his spinach - makes me want to get a Duke of Chocolate T-Shirt, just like a Popeye T-Shirt. I have my chocolate - The Duke and his chocolate. I become super workaholic when on a chocaholic high. This chocoholic high provides me with tremendous amounts of energy. The chocolate energy comes from the following nutrients:
· Fat - cocoa beans is made up of approximately 50% fat. The fat primarily comprises two saturated fatty acids, palmitic and stearic acids, and the mono unsaturated oleic acid. Cocoa butter and chocolate as such do not raise blood cholesterol. But, when consuming milk chocolate or lower grade chocolate where some part of the total fat content comes from milk fat or various other types of fat, the cholesterol level might be adversely affected.
· Sugar - The cocoa bean contains quite a lot of carbohydrates, but most of it is starch, soluble dietary fibers and insoluble dietary fibers. It has only a very small proportion of simple sugars.
· In addition it also contains antioxidants, theobromine, caffeine, phenylethylamine, serotinine, minerals and some vitamins.

The main source of energy from cocoa is the fat and carbohydrate in it. And since, it also has a small amount of caffeine it can be used as a stimulant like coffee, tea etc, which helps me work for days on end. Which is just what I needed to get my tax done and filed to the IRS.
