Our Southern Writers' Project is our effort to expand the cannon of American Theatre. We encourage stories about the South, from Southern writers, or about an African American story. Southwestern Pennsylvania Railroad GP10 #2002 leads a local freight through Youngwood, PA to Scottdale on July 2, 2007. The second unit is LTEX #2627, a former Southern Pacific SW1500. The SWP is part of the Allegheny Valley Railroad system (AVR) and runs on former Conrail (Pennsylvania) and CSX (B&O) tracks in Westmoreland and Fayette County.
