About Face (2008) discusses notions of absolutes in identity and language. The French dubbed version of John Woo's 1997 film Face/Off was transcribed and then translated into English. The resulting English text generated the content for the subtitles placed on the original English version of the film.

This performance (originally titled Throwing Things That Break) was conducted on September 27th and 28th in conjunction with the Dumbo Art Under The Bridge Festival. It deals with the role of women as domestic fixers and cleaners. I put myself in this scene as a way to examine my complicity and resistance to societal expectation and duty.
