I was out shopping on Saturday at Dondaemun market for the first time and I found a long stretch of the Cheonggyecheon Stream. The stream is 11km long, so it covers a large area.
Urban park in Seoul. Great effort to improve what was a major urban eyesore in the 1960s and later a paved over expressway. Provides a very linear urban oasis in the city. Rush water nice contrast to rushing city traffic above.
This is an urban park in Seoul, Korea. I didn't find what I was looking for, mayby it was turned on yet until the tourist season starts. Not much for tourist to see along the stream. Great for the residents to have a place to get out of apartments for walking, exercise, etc. I think this would be very hot in the summer below ground level and with not shade except the bridges.
Streams of Koreans and tourists enjoying a walk on a cold night next to Cheonggye-cheon stream in Seoul, to enjoy the Christmas lights and take pictures of the beautiful "Luce Vista" light displays.
