French researchers built this jumping microbot, which can leap more than 27 times its own height through uneven terrain. It generates such performance by charing two torsion springs with a 0.6 gram motor and cam. It was revealed at the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation May 21 in Pasadena, California.
