The microphone does not work all that well. I completely cuts out the background noise from the supermarket but the level is a bit too low. I increased the level in "post" but that led to a sort of base level clipping.
I use the word English in the video but Marmite is British, even British Commonwealth (New Zealanders like it too), not English.

Testing a new microphone adapter for my Sanyo Xaxcti. It seems that the problem was not the camera but the little bit of wire that converted from the miniature jack of the microphone to the microminiature jack on the camera. Now I have a sony one piece convert, there are no more crackles.
